Carapace (soon to become Cascara) contemplates Pepino melon/heart.beat
I have become intrigued by the relationships between my works, and see no reason to keep them separate on this site. Together they could be called "an environment". Carapace is almost completed. Although primarily a painter, a few of my pieces have been sculpture, or sculptural. They speak to the same subjects- natural forms, natural processes. This photo shows the bony back-like form, of the sculpture, (that started as a shell) - the hollow side facing a painting that shares certain formal qualities.
